Stranger Things season 4

Stranger Things season 4- RELEASE DATE(August), cast, premier more.To call Stranger Things a global phenomenon would be an understatement. The Netflix original series reinvigorated the pop-culture landscape when it premiered on the streaming service in 2016, becoming arguably its biggest original series and spawning various fan events, comic books, novels and so much more.

It’s been over two years since we have had new episodes of Stranger Things to enjoy as the third season premiered in the summer of 2019. However, the good news is that the show is set to make a comeback and will return for its fourth season on August 2022.

Fans have been eagerly anticipating season 4 for a long time now, but after some understandable delays, production has wrapped, meaning that it will arrive sooner rather than later.

Below, you’ll find all the up-to-date information you need about Stranger Things 4, its premiere on Netflix, its cast, any trailers and more.

·         Stranger Things season 4 release date.

Stranger Things 4 will premiere in 2022. Netflix confirmed on Aug. 6 that Stranger Things Season 4 is coming in 2022. The news was accompanied by a short teaser that also features a quick glimpse at Season 4 footage. The spot was released to air during primetime coverage of the Tokyo Olympic Games.

·         What Will Stranger Things Season Four Be About?

Following a teaser from earlier this summer that aired during the Tokyo Olympics, viewers didn’t have much to go off of. The season four teaser was more of a flashback to seasons one through three. The new teaser that dropped during Netflix’s Tudum event gives hardcore fans a lot more to chew on. The new season will introduce “Creel House,” which offers a whole new setting for the ragtag gang.

While the finer details of the season are still firmly under wraps, the new teaser shows a mid-century family moving into the house as “Dream a Little Dream of Me” plays in the background. Sounds nice, right? Tell that to the dead rabbit and the (seemingly) dead children in the trailer. The one big carryover from past teasers is that grandfather clock that seems to be a key between the mysteries of back-when and the present, when the kids find the house. Also, shoutout to Dustin’s Sherlock Holmes impression.

·         Stranger Things season 4 cast

The vast majority of Stranger Things‘ main cast will return for the fourth season, meaning that Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers), David Harbour (Jim Hopper), Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), Sadie Sink (Max Mayfield), Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers), Joe Keery (Steve Harrington), Maya Hawke (Robin Buckley), Priah Ferguson (Erica Sinclair), Cara Buono (Karen Wheeler) and Brett Gelman (Murray Bauman) will all be back.

Meanwhile, new series regulars will include Jamie Campbell Bower in the role of Peter Ballard, Eduaro Franco as Argyle and Joseph Quinn as Eddie Munsen. Horror legend Robert Englund will also appear in a recurring role as Victor Creel while former series regular. Michael Modine will return as Dr. Martin Brenner resurfaces via flashbacks.

·         Is this Stranger Things’ final season?

We’ve not even got Stranger Things season four yet, but talk is turning to when the series may come to an end. The Duffer Brothers did say they would probably have four or five seasons of the show before calling it a day. It has been confirmed that season four is not the final season. The Duffer Brothers have said they already know how Stranger Things will end, and have known for quite a long time. Speaking to Deadline Matt Duffer said: “We like to look at each season as kind of its own complete story.“We do have a pretty large mythology […] and season by season, we’re turning the page and revealing a little bit more and more.“So we do have a general sense of where we’re going. We’ve known the ending of the show for quite a while.”

More recently, Ross Duffer told CNN that the brothers have been working on the ending a bit more. “[The pandemic] has given us time to look ahead, figure out what is best for the show. Starting to fill that out gave us a better idea of how long we need to tell that story,” he said. While in June, David Harbour told Collider that season four would set up the show’s “definite ending”, which will happen at “some point”.“We’re introducing new stuff, but we’re also tightening and wrapping up in a certain direction to make it have a clear, clean specific, and definite ending at some point, which I can’t really talk about,” he said. One bit of good news though, The Duffer Brothers did reportedly sign a multi-year, nine figure deal with Netflix to develop other projects so it’s far from the last we’ll see of them.

Stranger Things seasons 1-3 are now available on Netflix.
